Khan had appeared in court on July 24 but the final verdict was not taken. The court then framed the charges and adjourned the case till August 19.
NEW DELHI: Salman Khan’s visa has been rejected by United Kingdom and strangely no reason has been stated for
the denial. Khan was suppose to fly down to UK for the shoot of his upcoming film. Now, however, his plan stands cancelled.A source told Midday that the film directed by Sajid Nadiadwala has already been delayed because Khan couldn’t make it on schedule and the actor is likely to reapply for his visa again in a week’s time.
Although the reason for denial of the visa wasn’t stated, Midday has speculated that the likely reason are the cases against Khan. Khan has two cases of poaching against him and his involvement in a hit-and-run case is still awaiting verdict.
Eleven years after he allegedly killed one person in a hit and run case, Khan was formally charged by a court with culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
The actor has pleaded not guilty to the charges, First Post reported.
Khan had appeared in court on July 24 but the final verdict was not taken. The court then framed the charges and adjourned the case till August 19.
The rules of acquiring a visa has also become more stringent now and that may also be a reason for UK denying Khan a visa.
