The two operations on the girl activist lasted a total of five hours, and doctors are said to be “very pleased” with her progress, the hospital informed.
Malala was shot on October 9 last year by Taliban when she was on the way home from school, angered at her objection to the group’s interpretation of Islam, which
limits girls’ access to education.
The hospital said today she was awake and talking to hospital and her family members.
